Sealed bids for sidewalk repair projects in the City of Black River Falls will be received by the City of Black River Falls Public Works Department, 101 Second Street,  Black River Falls, WI 54615 (Telephone: 715-284-2315) until 10:00 am Tuesday June 15, 2021 at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Bid specifications and bid requirements for this project will be available on our website at https://blackriverfalls.us/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/Sidewalk-Specs-2021.pdf , at City Hall located at 101 South Second Street, Black River Falls WI, or emailed upon request. Sealed bids shall be labeled “2021 Sidewalk Projects”.

In accordance with Wis. Stat. 62.15(3) all bids must be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond equal to 10 percent of the bid payable to the City of Black River Falls (the “City”) as a guaranty that if the bid is accepted the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within the time limited by the City. If the successful bidder so files the contract and bond, upon the execution of the contract by the City the check shall be returned. In case the successful bidder fails to file such contract and bond the amount of the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages.

The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract in the best interests of the City of Black River Falls.
