Something New @ the Library!

Activity Kits: At-home fun for all ages!

Libraries are adapting and changing to fit the needs of their communities. No longer are libraries a place to only check out books. Many libraries offer what has been termed a “library of things” –  a collection of things that patrons may check out exactly as they would a book or movie. In addition to the novelty cake pans the Black River Falls Public Library has available to check-out, we have now added NERF Activity Kits to our “library of things”!

NERF Activity Kit 1 is a NERF Blaster Kit which includes 5 NERF darts, 1 toy NERF blaster, 1 NERF target, and 1 pair of safety glasses.

  • NERF Activity Kit 2 is a NERF Vortex Howler and includes 2 NERF Catchers and 1 NERF ball.
  • NERF Activity Kit 3 is a NERF Golf Putting Kit and includes 1 extendable golf putter, 1 NERF foam golf ball, and 3 foam rings.

These new additions to our collection encourage screenless physical activity while boosting creativity with at-home setup options. While we still cannot gather for in-person programming, we are excited to be able to offer this new option for entertainment at home. Check a kit out today and treat the family to ‘NERF Night’!
