We are once again experiencing sewer line backups in the City of Black River Falls related to residents flushing items that plug and/or damage sanitary sewer lines so this is another reminder to ONLY flush toilet paper down the toilet.
If products other than toilet paper make their way in to the main sewer lines it may spell trouble for your entire neighborhood so please flush responsibly!
Just because something seems similar to toilet paper does NOT mean it will break down properly in your sewer pipes.
Just because a product states it is “flushable” does NOT mean it is.
Save yourself the money and the headache of home plumbing repairs by ONLY flushing toilet paper down the toilet!
